Tom Angel began his gardening journey growing radishes in his parent's back garden in South London in the 1980s. After working in landscaping, conservation and garden maintenance for many years, Tom went on to train in garden design. Fast-forward to today and Tom is now an award-winning garden designer and chartered horticulturist living in Scotland, having worked all over Scotland, England and France.
During his career, Tom has developed a passion for helping people improve and upgrade their gardens at sensible prices, making stunning planting schemes within reach of the average garden-owner. Tom uses his experience to create planting plans that stand up to real-world garden environments for the long term.
Tom offers a number of different planting plan styles that fulfil ecological, horticultural and sustainability goals without costing a fortune - or costing the earth.
After you have sent a soil sample, uploaded photographs, and answered a short questionnaire, Tom can begin the process of creating your bespoke planting plan. Planting plans cost £100 plus £7.50 per square metre, so for example a 10 square metre bed would cost £175 and a 20 square metre bed would cost £250. Payment of 50% is invoiced at the outset, and the final 50% is invoiced once you receive the highly detailed and fully labelled planting plans as a PDF, along with an itemised plant list.
You can be completely comfortable with the process because Planting Plans Online is part of Tom's established horticultural design and consultancy business, Angel Horticulture Ltd. You will get to speak to Tom personally on the phone, and you can also check out Tom’s testimonials here. Tom is also chairman of the Scottish branch of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture.
